What does Free include?
Free is permanently free and ad-free. With protection active, it blocks incoming callers not saved in the phone’s contacts, can explicitly block up to 5 saved contacts, and lets you turn protection on or off. Free does not include DenyCalls blocked-call history.
What does Pro include?
Pro includes unlimited saved contacts, individual contacts and groups, exact date ranges and timed rules for multiple contacts, temporary controls, important exceptions, repeat-caller handling, and local blocked-call history retained for up to 30 days with a maximum of 500 entries.
Is an account, email address, or app PIN required?
No account, registration, email address, login, activation code, or app PIN is required.
Is there a trial?
No. There is no 7-day trial or other trial. Free is permanently free.
Are there ads?
No. Both Free and Pro are ad-free.
Where is history stored and for how long?
Free does not include DenyCalls blocked-call history. Pro stores blocked-call history locally on the device for up to 30 days with a maximum of 500 entries. History is not uploaded to DenyCalls servers.
What happens when Android cannot confidently match a contact?
If Android cannot confidently identify a contact, DenyCalls allows the call rather than risking a false block.
How are hidden numbers and missed-call or carrier notifications handled?
Hidden-number and carrier behavior can vary. DenyCalls does not control Android missed-call notifications or carrier SMS notifications.
How are purchases and prices shown?
Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play. Google Play shows the current local price and terms. There is no website payment or activation.
Is a network request needed to decide whether a call rings?
Calls are evaluated locally on the Android device. No crowd-sourced or global caller database is used, and no network request is required to decide whether an incoming call rings.
Does DenyCalls identify callers, spam, or fraud?
No. DenyCalls has no caller ID or spam/fraud detection. There is no guarantee that every unwanted call or fraud attempt is stopped.
