How DenyCalls Works

DenyCalls turns your chosen contacts into an allowlist for incoming calls. It does not identify callers or consult a global spam database.

1. 1. Install DenyCalls

   Download DenyCalls from Google Play on the Android phone you want to protect. Follow the in-app setup and grant the Android permissions and call-screening role needed for the feature to work.

2. 2. Choose trusted contacts

   Select contacts from the phone and approve the people who should be able to call. Organize them into categories when that makes the list easier to manage.

3. 3. Activate protection

   Turn protection on. Incoming numbers are then compared locally with the approved list, and unapproved callers can be blocked.

4. 4. Manage your protection

   Check the current status, update trusted contacts, or turn protection off when you expect a call from a number that is not yet approved.
